      Entrevista

      During my recent interview experience, I observed several areas for improvement in the interview process. Regrettably, the overall atmosphere of the interview did not align with professional standards, and I left feeling disheartened and undervalued. The tone of the conversation felt condescending, and I found myself being spoken down to, which was disappointing. Moreover, I perceived a lack of structure in the interview format, as the questions posed did not adequately reflect the relevance of my experience or the requirements of the job role. Instead, there seemed to be a focus on questioning my integrity, which left me feeling as though my credibility was being doubted. Additionally, the job description for the position stated that it was a transition from a senior support worker to a service coordinator role. However, during the interview, it did not feel as though the discussion was directed towards this progression. Consequently, the interview did not provide the expected opportunity for a meaningful discussion about my qualifications and potential contributions to the role. In hindsight, I regret not addressing my concerns during the interview and am now reflecting on strategies to better advocate for myself in similar situations in the future. After the interview I did not hear back from them, which again is really disappointing.

We’re truly sorry to hear that it left you feeling disheartened — that is not the standard we want to set, nor does it reflect the culture we are committed to building at Concept Care. Since May 2024, our HR and recruitment practices have undergone significant changes. We now have a dedicated HR and Recruitment team, and we’ve put structured interview processes in place to ensure every candidate feels respected, valued, and given the chance to showcase their skills in a fair and relevant way. Part of this includes aligning interviews more closely with the role requirements and ensuring that conversations are professional, transparent, and constructive. We also acknowledge the disappointment of not receiving follow-up communication. We’ve since introduced clearer candidate communication protocols so that all applicants receive timely updates, regardless of the outcome. We genuinely value your feedback as it highlights areas where improvement was needed — and we’re committed to continuously refining our approach so that every candidate has a positive and professional experience with us.
