I did not get to a formal interview step. I completed an application through their website, then was asked via email to complete a fairly complex and time consuming project. After submitting (3 weeks ago today) I have gotten no response to move forward or that they are not looking at my application any longer, but they have continually reposted the position on job boards. Disrespectful of candidates time in my opinion.

If you're considering applying to Clipboard Health, think twice before investing your time. Many candidates, myself included, have experienced a hiring process that seems designed to extract free labor rather than genuinely assess applicants.
The main issue? Extensive case studies that require hours of unpaid work—sometimes even multiple rounds—before you even get a chance to interview. In some cases, the scope of these tasks is so broad that it feels more like solving real business problems for them rather than just an evaluation.

In a word, terrible. In response to the application, I received a well-worded and pleasant response from an HR rep detailing the next steps.
The 'case study' provided is a request to go to a government database, conduct your own analysis, develop a report, and provide recommendations to Clipboard Health, with the expectation that those recommendations would need to be justified if selected for another interview round. The document is shared, and there were over 40+ individuals looking at it simultaneously on the same day of this posting.
This was all perceived as the company manipulating job seekers into conducting analysis for them, for free, in the hopes of continuing to apply for a role.
This is deeply unethical.
The second half was to answer a series of technical SQL questions, which was far more in line a reasonable assessment during an interview.
