I received an email requesting that I complete a case study analysis that would allegedly be reviewed five business days from the date it is submitted. The case study provides little guidance and lacks relevant information. That said, I took at least 10 hours to complete a thorough analysis. I wish I would have read the reviews here first before wasting my time. It has been over 15 business days since I submitted a professional case study and I don't anticipate hearing back from them as I suspect what everyone else has said is true - they are soliciting work from candidates for free rather than assessing a skillset to place you for a job. As other people noted, a case study might make sense later in the interview process once you've at least had an interview with a real person but to insist on this out of the gate? It looks like they're just trying to get FREE work from the applicant pool. Don't waste your time!
