I went for an interview with Circles.Life but I would said the overall experience was unpleasant. When I arrived there for my interview, there was no one who came forward to attend to me and the staff at the reception was mostly non-responsive. I felt lost and confused while waiting for the interview to start.
I was told by the HR to ring the doorbell when I reach the entrance and someone will be there to assist me. But when I did that no one was there at the reception area to attend to me so I waited awhile and I rang the doorbell again. This time round the door opened so I went in and walked over to the reception counter which seems to be an office. Through the reception counter, I manage to catch one of the staff attention and she notified her colleague to attend to me. I went on to tell that I was there to attend an interview. With an expressionless look, the colleague told me to register through a tablet and went on to do her stuff without any further explanation of what I should be expecting after registration. After Awhile the HR came but similarly I was greeted with an expressionless look.
The interview process was quite standard and the interviewer was nice. However after the interview, I was told by HR that I might not be the right fit for them as they are looking for someone who work on large scale project. This got me quite confused because in the JD it stated that they are looking for people with 0 to a few years of experience. I thought to myself how does someone with 0 experience have prior experience working on large scale projects. It seems like they don't know what kind of candidate they are looking for and its misleading to put 0 experience. I think it would save the time of both parties if they can clearly state their expectation in the JD.
