      Entrevista de Risk Analyst

      14 may 2015
      Empleado anónimo
      Orlando, FL
      Oferta aceptada
      Experiencia positiva
      Entrevista normal

      Solicitud

Solicité el puesto a través de la recomendación de un empleado. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Charles Schwab (Orlando, FL) en abr 2015

      Entrevista

I had 2 interviews. The first interview was a 30-40 minute phone interview with a talent rep. A lot of the phone interview was spent discussing the job. I was very impressed that the person conducting the interview actually knew a lot about the job. In my experience talent reps usually know very little about the jobs they are conducting interviews for; they tend to know only what the posting states. This interviewer had a lot of in-depth knowledge. She said she had been working closely with the hiring manager, so I think this really helped her in explaining the role to me. The questions during this interview were fairly typical (what do you know about the company, why us, etc). The standard questions to weed out the people who can't articulate what they want and who don't do their research. Something I really liked is the interviewer advised me at this phase of the process of the hiring salary range and asked if it was within my range. I liked this because I didn't want to go through a long interview process only to be offered a job outside of my range. Fortunately the range she gave was acceptable. The second interview was with the manager of the dept and the director of the dept. Lots of behavioral questions. Nothing out of the ordinary and nothing took me by surprise. I spent a lot of time prior to the interview going through a couple of interview question books and picking out behavioral questions. I know how to answer behavioral questions, the issue is being able to suddenly pull the best examples from memory during the middle of an interview. So I picked out a ton of behavioral questions and thought of the best answer/example ahead of time so I could answer quickly and seem prepared on the day of the interview. My interview with the two was over an hour so this helped me considerably! If you are going to be in an interview for over an hour, you better be able to answer the questions and give relevant answers quickly (otherwise it will be the longest 1+ hour of your life). All in all, the interviews were average in difficultly. The key is to research the company, be able to articulate why Schwab, and research behavioral questions. Nothing hard at all, just long and you have to talk a lot.

      Entrevista

3 phone call interviews in two weeks. Each phone call interview took about 30 minutes. Waited 3 weeks for results after a follow up. The process is convenient and smooth. Nothing to complain.

Quick and fast by the recruiter. The decision were made quick. I had my final round in 2 weeks. This is something every company should do. Kudos to the recruiter for making the process streamlined

El proceso duró 7 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Charles Schwab (New York, NY)

      Entrevista

The interview process consisted of 3 interviews in total. Phone screen with the recruiter, zoom meeting with hiring manager and then the last round was another zoom meeting with the hiring manager and team member. After the 2nd interview, technical documentation was requested from me to support my recent work experience. Overall, communication from the recruiter was lacking, particularly after the 3rd interview. 4 weeks after my last interview I received the automated rejection email. This was my 2nd time interviewing with Charles Schwab, the 1st time I was ghosted. Consider the time candidates take to prepare and gather requested documentation... don't leave candidates hanging.
