I applied to a Value Engineer role in the Orbit Program which has 4 stages; I only got to the second stage and was ghosted. The first interview was very basic just making sure I am who I say I am and it was guaranteed to go to the 2nd stage. The 2nd stage is where I had problems and why I'm leaving a negative review. First, the interviewer was 15 minutes late and tried to say I wasn't in the call even though I showed up 5 minutes early and was waiting for him. Second, is the fact I was mislead and ghosted afterwards. After the second stage interview, I didn't hear from Celonis for about a month, then I got an email requesting another interview, the link didn't work, and I received another email from someone I had previously communicated with saying it was sent in error and to await further instructions. Those instructions never came and I have never received any message updating the status of my candidacy, It's fine to reject my candidacy, I'm not entitled to a position, but to send someone an interview request, rescind it, ignore their emails asking for clarification, and then ghost them is insulting and unprofessional.

First they asked a very basic SQL question, mine was how would I find the number of records in a table, no WHERE conditions just a simple COUNT(*).
Second they want you to see how you'd use their proprietary software to propose a process change for improvement of some metric. They wanted to see how I'd use the software to improve patient arrival rate at a doctor's office. Review the materials they give you in advance and find available info online about their product before the 2nd stage interview so you understand how it works!

I applied because someone from the company thought it would be a good fit for me and had no idea how ridiculous the expectations would have been for an "early career" position. I have never once been given a task with homework preparation to learn the companies platform leading up to the first round interview I spent what minimal time I had with the short notice of the interview during a busy season for me, but it didn't matter although I think I did well in their platform exercise at it interview, I was not ready for these gotcha questions.
After that I was told there was to be 2-3 presentation and panel rounds. I have never heard of a more exhausting interview process for position of < 3 years experience.
Last but not least, the interviewer was very rude and showed visible signs of impatience and frustration by the time at the end of the interview, even though I was polite and showed genuine interest, explicitly and respect in even paid compliments. I just knew that I wasn't gonna make it to the second round, big waste of my time.
The recruiter was awesome, though!
Be ready for wild questions or else you will get scoffed at. Makes you wonder if those required training modules they ask you do prior to the 1st round are worth it if you can't make it past the tough guy gatekeeper.
*Edit: I do recall looking at this Glassdoor feed and saw that many people reported being asked a lot of Value Engineer role term definitions. Thus, I also spent quite a bit of my 13th hour moment, I made sure I was solid on all the various key terms (they have a lot). BUT, I was asked 0 of these questions instead - it did not help in my case.

First screening call with HR manager, next a call with the head of the ORBIT program and a future ORBIT manager and finally a technical challenge where you are given a fictional company and have to pitch Celonis' Value proposition given their pain points
