There was no interview. I did a phone screening with a recruiter. After speaking with the recruiter about my past experience, sending him my portfolio link, and reviewing the position, the recruiter told me that I was more than qualified for the role and got me submitted immediately. He also told me that I would hear back from him either way the following week. The following week had come and gone, and I still hadn't heard from him. So, I sent an email asking for an update regarding the role. He responded and told me that he hadn't heard anything back from them and would get back to me by the end of the week. I was ghosted and never heard anything back from him. Recruiters have a knack for focusing only on their commission for sourcing good talent but then ghosting them if someone better comes along when it only takes five minutes to send a follow-up email. Terrible experience and I will not be working with the company again.
