Even from the beginning the interview process seemed unorganized. After the initial phone screen I was told that the next step in the interview process was going to be a zoom meeting with the program manager. Much to my surprise the actual interview I had was a technical interview with a coding challenge. The person interviewing me was surprised that I was interviewing with him and that he usually has more time to interview with a candidate. This should have been enough for me to realize that I shouldn't pursue this opportunity, but I continued to interview for the role. Over the next 3 weeks or so I interviewed with different members of the team. Every interview during that time was basically the same, "what would you do in this situation" type questions. After this, I was told that I had done extremely well and everyone had great things to say about me, but I needed to wait for everyone to catch up in the process. This was the nail in the coffin. I heard nothing from them for a couple of weeks, and then I received a generic rejection email from the recruiter. I tried to follow up to get more insight into what I did wrong and how I could improve, but I never received a response. I went from being told that I did excellently throughout the process and everyone was praising me to radio silence and a rejection email. Overall I left the interview process no better than I was before, after a month of interviewing I was given no feedback and the job was reposted on LinkedIn the day after, so I was obviously not the excellent candidate that I was told I was.

I had 3 separate interviews. The first was just a phone screening with the recruiter. The second was a group interview with 3 people from the company. The final interview was 3 people separately for 30 mins each. One of them was the technical interview.
