I applied for an Operations Associate role on the 12th of April. After 3 days I received a screening interview. I enjoyed the interview; it was quite relaxed one. Then I was told I would need to do the TestGorilla assessment. It was the first time me doing it, so it was a bit weird and unusual for me, and I did not think this test in any way tested my skills, especially for the job I applied. After the task, I was invited to the next interview on the 28th. Even though I was quite happy to move forward, the interview itself was not the most pleasant, because it seemed to be scripted rather than an honest 1:1 conversation. After that interview I felt like they probably already selected someone and decided to waste their and other candidates' time. I send them 2 reminders. They responded to the first one promising they would come back with the feedback, but they did not. It felt like a huge waste of time preparing for the job interview. I had to research the company, print out the job description, mark everything relevant, write down comments, questions, do the test, and in the end, I got nothing. Very disappointing experience considering I was confident that such company will treat their candidates fairly. Even after putting so much effort and having no clear answer, I am still interested in this company, but I am not sure if I would like to apply for a job with capital.com in the future considering this quite negative experience.
