After a tedious automated interview process in which I had to:
1. Describe how I performed in high school maths TWICE (given that the typical candidate has a degree and several years of experience, why on earth is this relevent?)
2. Spend over 3 hours on a personal statement with over 20 points to cover
3. Do an almost hour long psychometric test
4. Do an hour and a half length coding test with poorly written instructions.
In the end, I was rejected by a no-reply email. Very disrespectful attitude on the end of Canonical and I regret wasting my time on this application in favor of other applications. Don't waste yours.

How did you rank in your high school, in your final year in maths and hard sciences?
It's an extremely long process that includes standardized tests, take home assignments, and several rounds of interviews. It was at least 5 rounds long and you interview across different teams.

They have a really long, tiring interview process. The first round was a written interview where I had to answer like 15 questions. Then a coding interview with 1 hour time that I could do anytime for 2 weeks. Then I had to take a personality test and they totally ghosted me.

The written part was unnecessarily long and the coding interview didn't give any feedback but the questions were fair. Online IDE was a bit slow. Some information multiple choice questions were not things that measure competency.
