This position was advertised on the radio so I sent my resume and cover letter to their recruiter who was able to answer all of my questions and help prepare me for the first one-on-one interview. During that interview I was asked generic questions like "How would you rate your success in radio ad sales?" and "What do you know about our company?", etc. During the interview you are given a skills test and five minutes to complete it. Most of the questions are pretty easy like "what's the higher value, 1/2 or .33?" I was told I did well on the test, even though I skipped three questions because they were long. I was also told the interview went well and that I'd move on to another interview before I went on to train for the position. Unfortunately, the person who interviewed me first left the job before I could get to the second interview so it was done by his replacement, who actually thought he was interviewing me for the administrative assistant position (receptionist/secretary) and not ad sales. He told me that the position I wanted had been filled between that time and my first interview and continued to try to convince me to take the administration job. I accepted, as it would at least allow me to move up in the company, but was not even hired in the end.
