At first, the HR called and there was an initial HR screening. Next, the interview was with the manager of the company who interviewed me based on SQL, and Economics and also asked what type of work I do in Excel. The third round was with the director of the company who mainly asked personal questions. The fourth and the fifth round were with the client where two people separately interviewed based upon my previous work experience. The sixth round was an excel and a SQL test. Finally, the HR called to say another candidate was selected for the interview.

Interview process was quick. Once I was shortlisted, two technical rounds took place within a week from each other and the day after I was shortlisted for the position. Although there seems to be a lot of confusion among HRs: I was originally interviewed for Lead role but they offered me Analyst position. I had to point that out only to be told that my years of experience didn’t make my candidature eligible for lead role and was offered the senior analyst position.
