The interview process was very quick and straightforward. I think I did a phone interview with the main office in Florida. Then I did an in-person interview in my city. The in-person interview was more informational from the interviewer than me. I was asked some scenario based questions and then was provided with the proper answer. I was not penalized for unfavorable answers.
The interviewing process is easy but the onboarding process is lengthy. I have not received my official start date but I was hired about 7 weeks ago. The training could be more organized and they are trying to improve it but, there is a long way to go. You most complete the online 40 hours of coursework. You two weeks of that and I would suggest going to your orientation, mock training and webinar during those weeks, if able.
Next you are placed with a trainer and start field training. In field training, they sort of rush through the application of everything you learned in the coursework. This training is typically only two sessions, unless you ask for more. It can be overwhelming but the staff is supportive. You should also be completing your background and fingerprints during this time. There are a lot of moving part and its can be confusing. After field training, you must complete a 2 hour performance evaluation by yourself with a client and BCBA. Once you pass that you are good to start.
You will definitely spend more during this process on multiple requirements. Reimbursement is available further down the line and training is pay but at about half the hourly wage.
***Also, you sign your hiring letter early on and agree to staying with the organization for 6 months. If you try to leave before then you will owe the organization for process you application, like $300.

Was hardly an interview, just touched a bit on what I had on my resume then asked for my availability. Didn’t really ask any “interview” questions, and I was hired on the spot.

I applied for the position. They scheduled me a zoom interview. It was about 30 minutes. They asked why I thought I would be a good candidate for the job and I’d I have any experience with children and autism. A few days later the company contacted me by email with an offer.

The interview process was friendly and structured. I first completed a phone screening that covered my availability and experience with children. This was followed by a virtual interview where I was asked scenario-based questions related to behavior management and client interaction. The interviewer also explained the job responsibilities and training support clearly. It was a smooth process and took about a week overall.
