I was contacted on LinkedIn by an internal recruiter who asked for my portfolio and salary expectations. He said that the multiple copy roles they were hiring for were within this salary range. I had a first interview with a marketing team member which felt positive, and the recruiter called me afterwards to say they liked me and would set up a second interview. However, the recruiter also said the salary as far less than my stated expectations, and said that I would only move on to the second interview if I could accept the salary. I reluctantly agreed, and interviewed with their head of copy who had only joined the company a week before. This interview felt positive as well, however I never heard back afterwards from the recruiter or anyone else from the company, even after multiple attempts to contact the recruiter.
