Applied by sending my resume and cover letter to the recruiter at that particular location. Got an email the next day requesting the interview. Since I was abroad, we did a Skype interview. They wanted to bring me in to have me spend time in the classroom and observe, but I obviously couldn't as I was out of the country. There was a lot of delay until I got an official offer, mostly because I think they were nervous about hiring someone they hadn't met in person.
