To get an internship for the senior consultant level, I sent in a customized cover letter and resume, and heard back very quickly - the next day. I had a screening with the head hunter that lasted maybe 20 minutes - she was just confirming I was who I said I was. Two days later I had a 30 minute panel interview with three Booz Allen employees, including one person who would be my project lead for the internship.
