I met company representatives at an Industry Expo at my school. I was contacted by a recruiter the next week. We had a phone conversation where he briefly informed me of the requirements for this internship. He then scheduled me for an interview with the company the following week. The interview started with a brief reading comprehension test. We were taught about a new programming language on the fly and asked to evaluate statements in that language. The rest of the interview was rotating panels of different software disciplines. They each tried to gauge our interest in their particular discipline, and some general interview questions were blended in.

This internship would require part-time work during the year, so he made sure that I was able to commit to that. The interview was the week after the phone conversation. First, there was a programming aptitude test that felt like the ACT. They described a new programming language and then asked us to interpret what the commands would produce. The actual interview consisted of different panels rotating between candidates. The interview lasted from about 9 until 12:30PM with a brief tour afterwards.
