I interviewed at Blackrock in May 2017. They think they are google and thus they take 7-8 interviews. First, they took 3 rounds ( 1 coding, 2 phone technical interviews) and then said that the position has been filled via internal reference. Then they told me to that they will interview me for a different team. Video technical interviews for the whole day with 8 people one on one based in NY and Wilmington. Then they told that still Hiring manager is remaining and he will be available day after tomorrow. Then one more round with the hiring manager for 50 mins. Then they emailed me that reviews were very positive and then vanished. I emailed them to at least give a rejection email but still no reply from them. It sucks as I wasted like 5 days with them. At least I deserve a general automatic email confirming rejection. Very unprofessional.

Hasta 8 entrevistas todas iguales, algunos entrevistadores muestran 0 interés en tu experiencia y solo se centran en qué resuelvas ejercicios tipo Leetcode. Aunque pasé todas las entrevistas técnicas y resolví todos los ejercicios no quedé seleccionado. No pierdan su tiempo con ellos si no quedan seleccionados en las primeras 2-3 entrevistas, no hay feedback y no contestan los correos.

Entrevista
Applied online. Straight into a technical interview with 2 engineers. The first half of the interview comprised of some Java-related questions (Strings, OOP, polymorphism), and the second half was a small coding task.
The second interview was another technical interview with a couple of engineering managers. This one was more of an in-depth conversation about my experience and skills.

Entrevista
I got a Hackerrank Coding challenge(3 Programming questions) which I finished on the weekend and sent back. They were happy and scheduled a programming interview with a VP who was so unprofessional . First off, he came 10 mins late telling he was in the middle of a production issue and he can give me more than 30 mins to complete the programming challenge. I took 35 mins to complete. He was dead silence all through the interview. He was working on the production issue and not paying any attention to the interview at all. I kept asking him to ask any question if something is unclear. He didn't ask a single question. At the end he mentioned that he made up for the late start by giving me the five extra minutes. I passed all the test cases and the next day they mention they are not moving ahead with my candidacy. I am not sure what the reason would be when the interviewer didn't even pay attention to the interview.
What a waste of time. I spent a total of 3 hours. The HR was good so my review is not for the Organisation as such.
