Interviewed with the hiring manager and marketing director and they thought I’d be a fit for a couple of roles. Then the hiring manager met with me and said she’d like to bring me on as an independent contractor. We agreed on a wage and she welcomed me to the organization and said I’d hear from HR the next day. But I didn’t. Three days went by with no word from her or HR. Then she finally responded to my email. She said HR had changed the role I’d been going to contract in but that she’d follow up with me in two days when the job description for the other role we’d discussed was finalized. She would share the jd with me and set up an interview. Aaaand then nothing. I emailed her to follow up but no word. Then they posted the role we’d talked about so I applied. Did an interview with HR and that person said she’d follow up with me by the end of the week. But nope. So I emailed her and heard nothing.
