Phone screening with HR, 2nd round with Director, 3rd round w/ Sr Director and an Excel doc. The analytics org has 4 tiers: Marketing, Sales, Business Analytics, Product Analytics - one team does BI, but I forget which one. The BI team maintains schemas in Snowflake, among other things. The majority of their data analysis is through Excel - pivots, vlookups, etc. They're not quite there on the Data Science end. They have a bunch of data collected, but it's not clean, etc.. They're a bit apprehensive on hiring someone with a DS background at this time, maybe in a year or two though. They've had DS hires in the past and those hires have wanted more from a modeling side, but there was push back from the top. I didn't get the chance to go through the excel dataset, but it seemed relatively straight forward - list of clients ids, debt levels, enrollment/termination dates, debtors.
