It wasn't a receptionist that they were hiring for but a patient Care Coordinator. Explained to be "like a receptionist." I was told more about the problems and rivalries among the 6 Louisville, KY staff then being interviewed. He told me what he would offer if he offered. He rescinded that amount and lessened it by $1.50, when he asked if I would like the position. He told me his entire history with the company, but did not talk about my qualifications. He did recruit me from a supervisor guest service position where he was a customer. He witnessed my hard work ethnic so maybe he already liked me for the position
