Quick questions about customer service skills. Wanted to know if you were professional and could maintain patience when the store got busy. Had to wait in long lines for the interview. They have to have quick interviews during the holiday season because they have so many applicants. Asked about former work experience and education. Also discussed what departments would I be most interested in working in.

What would you do if a customer became upset with you.
I was a referral and had a brief discussion with the manager and got the job relatively easily. I think getting this job was one of the easier jobs I was able to obtain. However, this was back in 2010.

They asked me what my availability would be since it was around the holiday season.
One Interview with the department manager for a sales position. Super short, simple, and to the point.
I received the offer same down and then had to schedule onboarding with Human Resources.
It was your basic questions. Went fine. Nothing too detailed but it was for a base position at the holidays. They were looking for anyone dependable with a car basically.
