First step after applying was an assessment with 3 coding questions (2 medium + 1 hard LC questions) and 2 open-ended questions asking about latest project and open source experience. Topics I got for coding were Strings, Array and Mathematics. Got an email saying my results were outstanding (could be a generic email)
Second step was a phone interview with a Team Lead talking about past experiences, resume and what I'm looking for in a company. I also asked some questions of my own. I thought the conversation went well and was excited about this job prospect. Team Lead sounded like someone I would enjoy working under and seemed like our values lined up. However, they chose not to proceed on to the next step with me. I am not really sure what I said wrong but I think they are looking for people with way more experience for their Junior role than they put in their job description. "No robotics experience" was in the description. Email I got said that their interview process was highly competitive but they are continuously advertising this role on LinkedIn every week so I think they are looking for very very specific kind of people. My only guess is they want someone that just graduated but with an extensive background in robotics (probably a Master's graduate)
