I interviewed with three people and advanced to the final round. I sent standard follow-up emails over the next five weeks of radio silence. I never heard another word. It was the most wildly unprofessional and disrespectful interview process I have ever participated in. As I learned more about the organization’s policy positions while waiting for a response, it became clear that their mission involves making the rich richer in a city with some of the worst wealth inequalities in the U.S. While this would’ve ultimately would’ve been a terrible fit for my values, I’m still stunned by the utter lack of professionalism and consideration for my time (and I’m sure the that of other candidates who were “ghosted” by this group). 0/10.
