I applied online. A week later I stopped in to introduce myself and learned that the Assistant Manager was making a list of people who stopped in to introduce themselves. A couple days later I got a call to schedule a group interview. Only two other people of the ten showed up. The Manager took us to the back room and talked about the company and how it has an inclusive environment and that they do not tolerate bullying or gossiping. The Manager did most of the talking and the group learned that she couldn't afford to pay us for sales and that we would only be used one Sunday a month for stock and during seasonal we may or may not be called in to help out on the sales floor. It all depended on how busy they got and if they needed help. It was a small store so they usually didn't need the extra help. I wish that was mentioned in the job description. She was very nice but it felt like a waste of my time.

I interviewed today at Bath & Body Works for the position of Sales Support Associate. The manager that they chose to interview me was on lunch so I ended up waiting 10 minutes. So I decided to use the time to walk around and look at their various products and get a feel of what I’m getting myself into. Also it was to calm myself down because I was nervous. After that manager comes to find me and she greets me directing me to the back room of the store where I got to see their neat yet small storage area. She told me a bit about herself and how long she’s been with the company. She proceeded to ask me what my experiences are that would help me with this position and I had a few. I could tell we were hitting it off well and the conversation led to a deep background on how they set up displays such as tables and the wall displays. She told me that rate of pay it would be and offered me the job on the spot which I accepted.
