Company was recruiting a high level role within crypto auditing. I am one of the unicorns with that sort of experience for the last 6-7 years. Hiring manager asked when can you start immediately during the interview. I went through FULL interview process (about 5 interviews.) I interviewed people from their audit dept at my current role (im also a hiring mgr) who told me concerning things about leadership changes so I was naturally apprehensive. My other issue was that I would have to relocate for the job. I decided to be bold and ask if they were flexible with their office requirements, they said they would make it work (lies.) Never heard back after! Its been months, not even a rejection email. I could care less to follow up. If location was the issue, they could have been honest with me. I would have considered moving to be closer to the office instead of just disappearing the second I asked.
