They started a systems programming interview and when I said I wanted to do my interview in Javascript they ended the interview and didn't call me back. I said this was for a frontend position and JS was my main language but I guess they don't want to hire FE engineers?

The COO had to reschedule our introductory call two times, and before having that phone call or having any introduction, they wanted to send a coding assignment that they expect to take 12 hours. I told them that I simply can't find 12 straight hours to do a coding assignment, I was assured that if I were "fast" it could be completed in a single hour.
After confirming with them that I would not be continuing their process, they sent me the exercise anyway. They expected a complete project within 24 hours, and the scale of the project would have been multiple days of work at my previous employers. A ridiculous process with no respect for your time at all, made clear by always rescheduling our phone conversations at the last minute.
Red flags everywhere, stay away.
