Got reached out by a recruiter, after that had a casual conversation with an engineer. Proceeding this initial process I was assigned a hefty take home that involved creating a full stack eCommerce shopping cart application, the description states that the work should be able to be completed within a day or so, but applicants usually take a week (uhmm what!?) . After spending a week on the project I contacted the recruiter and was told they moved forward with someone else (yay me for spending hours on this and having the recruiter waste my time). I would say I had a pleasant time talking with the engineer, but their HR department lacks transparency and honesty with candidates.
