Interview process came in 6 phases. 1. Initial screening call from HR 2. First Interview with hiring manager 3. Technical Interview with senior engineers 4. Technical interview/test using a lab environment and senior engineers to provide assistance 5.Interview with Senior Manager 6. Final Interview with Hiring manager and more Senior members of team The majority of the interview process was to go thru career history and give examples of troubleshooting techniques and collaboration with team members as well customers. The technical test/interview was something akin to ccnp tshoot exam. A lab environment was provided and you are given remote access to it. Basically, A device cannot unicast/mutlicast B device on the other side. A number of intentional faults are put in place to be resolved. Once everything is done you are expected to write a report on issues encountered and send to team. Some of issues encountered were.... 1. misconfig static ARP on router connected to A device. 2. BGP source address incorrect on one of the routers 3. Multicast configured incorrectly. RP should be configured on R1 and all devices point to this router. 4. Wrong subnet used on Device B. I'm sure there were one or two other stoppers but cant remember I was given provisional offer but due to Corona Virus recruitment was put on hold. In the end I decided not to wait and accepted another job offer.
