Was called within a day of application for 2 hour interview. Phone screen with a few basic questions then scheduled an in person two hour interview for the following day. Interviewed and job shadowing.

Interview was over the phone due to COVID-19. They called me a significant amount of time after they were supposed to. The interview seemed more like a chance to brag on the successes of the "business" rather than get to know me. I was offered the position by the end of the phone call... without speaking to anybody on the clinical side (just one HR person) and without any tour of the facility. What REALLY got me though was the person interviewing me said, "You'd never know there was anything wrong with him," when referring to a CLIENT. I'm sorry, you'd never be able to tell because there's NOTHING "wrong" with him; he has autism. That alone left me feeling sick to my stomach, which is ultimately why I declined the offer. If you're serious about working in ABA, make sure you know upper management acts in an ethical and respectful manner towards clients. Overall, it was the most awkward and uncomfortable interview I've ever experienced. YOU also have to pay for the background check.
