Alloy reached out to me on LinkedIn for an open position. Although I wasn’t actively looking for a job change, I decided to have an initial conversation. The talent manager was highly engaging and convinced me to explore the opportunity further. Throughout the interview process, I spoke with several team members, all of whom demonstrated professionalism, genuine interest in my background and skills, and, most importantly, an interest in me as a person. Their product seems strong, and their company strategy is well thought out. I also got a great impression of their company culture. As part of the process, they asked me to prepare a presentation and participate in a role-play exercise. While challenging, these were well-structured and managed effectively. The entire process was smooth and left me with a very positive impression of the company. In the end, I decided not to accept their offer for personal reasons, but I truly enjoyed the experience and getting to know the team. My only critique would be that they pushed a bit too hard for a near-immediate decision, essentially the day after extending the offer. While I understand their internal timelines and the need to keep the process moving, a little more flexibility would have been appreciated. Overall, I had a great experience with Alloy and would recommend them to anyone considering an opportunity there.
