I submitted resume and cover letter to the hiring manager through the school's website. I was promptly contacted and setup the first interview with the hiring manager and HR. Soon thereafter I was contacted and scheduled a second interview with the hiring manager and the manager he was replacing due to retirement. That went well and a final interview was arranged with the college president. All interviews were complete and I had an offer in less than two weeks.
