The interview process was quick compared to bigger Biotech/Biopharma companies in the area but communication between recruiter, interviewers, and interviewees was poor. Recruiter approached me for a phone interview for a QC Associate 2 position. That took about 20 minutes. Due to vacations it took 2 weeks to do the next round of interviews. The next interview was conducted via Microsoft Teams. In that interview I was informed that the position I had been originally approached about had been downgraded for reasons not related to me. This decision had happened before I confirmed the interview time and was never communicated to me prior to the Teams interview. When asked the reasons for the downgrade and why I wasn't informed beforehand I was told things that didn't leave me with confidence in their process or the culture at the company.
