I went through 4 rounds of interviews with various team members. Seemed promising. I was very honest about coming from a different industry however, this role was very niche. I ultimately did not receive an offer. I find that sometimes with pharma jobs, even if the hiring manager does not have a science background, they refuse to take a chance on someone else without a science background. Moral is - we all want someone else to give us a chance but in reality, this rarely happens.
