Started off with a lengthy phone call from the recruiter and I absolutely loved it. We talked about my career path so far and the work culture at AWeber, which did fascinate me a lot because those are all the things I would love to work on a day to day basis. The recruiter showed great interest which was later followed by another call from the CTO. We dived into project details and how cloud automation and tooling were used in each scenario, know how of the programming languages given my background etc. A few days later I received an onsite interview and boy is that office gorgeous! The work environment is so beautiful that I'd give anything to work with them...well, not because of their office but because of their product and technology stack. The people I have met are super nice and knowledgeable. My interview was with the CTO and VP (Arch.) and although my interview, as per my instincts, went well I did not receive an offer. The same week I had my 4th round with Facebook and it did not go well. As expected I did not get an offer but at least on FB's case I knew I failed right during the interview. Guess I will never understand who gets the offer and who doesn't :)) Cheers!
