Ventajas

The McCarthy family is very kind charitable, and believes everyone should work hard, play hard, and give back. They believe in family first. Best marketing department I have ever seen. Everyone there is very nice. Employee benefits are great, pay is good for the amount of work. Workload is manageable.

Desventajas

Some of upper management knows their stuff, but some don't know anything about insurance laws. It is ok to be creative and offer a new product, but not when the product directly defies the law of the state. It is a real shame, but I don't see how they can last unless things are corrected quickly before people find out. Brokers are already beginning to see the chinks in the armor, so it is just a matter of time. Also, there are absolutely no processes in place. The minute someone says "this is how we do it, period" someone else is saying the opposite. It leaves employees frozen in their tracks because they don't know whom to follow.

Ventajas

Energi is one of those special firms where everyone, from the CEO to the frontlines, is completely focused on doing what makes most sense for the long term. If spending a dollar up front will save two dollars down the line, they do it. If making the extra effort will benefit policy holders immediately and the firm later, they do it. This company really makes you feel like family. This is a place where you can worry about serving customers, not watching your back. Good benefits, very supportive HR staff.

Desventajas

Energi is not a large firm, so there are not as many opportunities to rise up the ranks. The firm is also devoted to creating value for policy holders and does not inflate salaries.
