Ventajas

SwiftStack is the youngest company I have every worked for and I'm impressed with it's ability to run well considering all of the obstacles young businesses in a very competitive market deal with. SwiftStack and it's managers provide employees with a flexible work-life balance that is the best I have experienced. I feel that I am supported in the work I do and appreciated by management and the executive staff. The CPO is one of the most inspirational and driven people I have ever meet, and the respect for the work we do and effort we put is given acknowledgment.

Desventajas

As a small company with limited resources there are times were communication, accountability and resources can perhaps be better provided and handled in a better manner. But I believe this is getting better all the time.

Ventajas

I worked at SwiftStack for almost 4 years. Had a great time, worked with great people, traveled, met with plenty of happy customers, and had enthusiastic response. Smart team members, and felt like people always had my back. Left on good terms - simply had other personal project things I wanted to work on.

Desventajas

Like any "small" company, many of the enterprise customers have higher demands and expectations than what you can ever possibly do. Part of the balance is knowing how to keep feeding them new features while not succumbing to every whim they ask for - you'd go out of business quickly. This is not unique to SwiftStack. Technical decisions are sometimes made that I didn't agree with, but regardless I'm glad someone made a decision. Plenty of other places no decision is ever made, which is even worse.
