Ventajas
Great people, great culture. It was like a family there for many years.
Desventajas
It is still a great company, however, I believe Scansource is in a difficult position in the marketplace. It is one of competition and new technologies eroding margins. While Scansource is ahead of most other technology distributors, I am not sure there is a path ahead which is clearly defined for success. I hope they are able to solve these problems like they have in the past. This has lead to layoffs over the last few years, which was never done in the past. I saw them get rid of some EXTREMELY talented people who could probably make a much better living elsewhere but chose to stay with the company because of the culture. Mike Bauer and team are exceptional leaders and hopefully, they will come up with some creative ideas which will result in real business results.
