Ventajas

Some of the pros of working at Rite Aid are its a fairly easy job. You can advance in the company. Its a very relaxed environment . I am a twenty year old associate who is being promoted to a supervisor when i turn 21 in a few months. I feel like the people i work with recognize when i do a good job and enjoy working there.

Desventajas

The company is extremely cheap. They treat the associates like slaves. If you are an associate at Rite Aid you are looked at as a dime a dozen. They will start you out at minimum wage and give you one raise a year which is 2% 3 if you are lucky. They have changed so much to eliminate costs, they have demoted assistant managers to supervisors. Instead of hiring consultants they use the employees to do that job and call it the Cultural Change group. Compared to what the competitors are paying versus Rite Aid i am extremely unsatisfied. In a couple months i take on a lot of responsibility for less than a 2 dollar raise when i would make more if i worked at CVS or Walgreens as a cashier. Rite Aid is more concerned about catching associates stealing they have cameras in all the places where we handle money but people are stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise in the aisles daily.
