Scope and ownership: Rippling has so many impactful problems to solve that any motivated individual would be able to own a very big problem statement, drive things and hence grow really fast. Really smart peers: Rippling has maintained the hiring bar, not just in engineering and product, but also in other functions. You are interacting with really smart people and teams on a day to day basis, and hence learning and growing. Open and improved engineering culture: There aren't any boundaries on people to go and learn, major engineering projects are put in open for others to discuss and learn. The engineering team and culture has improved vastly in the last 2 years, with a lot of seasoned staff and senior staff engineers in the org. Product and revenue growth: Rippling's clarity in what they want to build had been astonishing from day 1. Some of the products that we recently launched are things that comp any had in their plan from day 1. There is so much conviction and clarity into all the product and engineering investment that most of our products launched scale from 0 to few millions of revenue within their first year. The revenue growth has been astonishing, not derailed by many macro economic crisis. The revenue stream is diversified and proven to be resilient to so many external factors.
Desventajas
Its not going to be an easy going company: The company has ambitious goals and individuals, and to be impactful one needs to keep up with that. Thats the DNA of the company which has helped propel the growth. This does not mean a worse work life balance, but is about finding smarter ways and being really efficient with your work, decision making and execution.
