Ventajas
Good stipend relative to the cost of living for the area, plenty of administrative support, very driven undergrads and students, decent school, beautiful campus. Administration cares, though they care about the undergrads more than the grad students.
Desventajas
It's in Houston - terrible weather and expect to have allergies. It feels like people only come here to work. Also, it's in the middle of a somewhat snobby neighborhood, though reasonably priced housing isn't TOO hard to find.
