Ventajas
Since many tasks fall outside the scope of the Job Description (JD), there are opportunities to learn a wide variety of things. Because everyone is dedicated to their duties and KPIs, it is easy to involve other departments when working on company-wide missions.
Desventajas
It is quite common for completely unrelated tasks to account for roughly 40 % 40% of the workload. It is not an environment where one can proactively build their own career path. There is a strong bias toward short-term KPIs, resulting in weak strategic thinking regarding mid-to-long-term goals and data-driven decision-making.
