Upper management will lie and string you along promising all sorts of things, "just give me a little time". They reward hard working employees with more work and responsibility. All the hardworking employees have burnout. They keep cutting heads and the hardworking employees shoulder all the additional workload. Then they cut more and expect you to take on even more. As a result, we have lost so many A+ players who have been fed up with upper management's antics.
