Ventajas

Fun culture, great management, working out doors, people care about the environment, pay is based on training, merit AND experience, free places to camp in the Inland northwest, get fit, free food when on trips. Pay is better than just about any other guide company. People are paying you to go rafting... what more could you want?

Desventajas

If you're a guide who like drugs/tobacco (I didn't care but some do), you'll have to quit as there is testing. You will be required to do public speaking, so be ready. Making money/advancing in the guide world is always tough - it's a hard field to make a career out of. If you're looking for big money, this isn't for you. ROW is almost too hesitant to fire people. Guiding is dangerous. Some people should not do it.

Ventajas

ROW is working hard to be an industry leader in creating life changing travel experiences. In addition, we are trying hard to create a company culture that is supportive of our guides and staff. It feels super rewarding when guides take ownership in the company culture. The people who are passionate about sharing beautiful places makes it all worth it.

Desventajas

At times the scale of ROW becomes overwhelming. We do a lot of different things, and this means juggling a lot of balls and wearing a lot of hats. This does come with cool opportunities on the plus side.
