Ventajas
If I had to summarize my time with Project Rousseau in one word it would be “growth”: my own professional growth, the organization’s growth, and the growth of our students. Project Rousseau’s leadership show vision and grasp new opportunities on a daily basis which means that staff are constantly challenged and able to engage in new initiatives. Crucially, the organization is extremely mission focused which ensures that all expansion leads to greater service to our students. This has been a great place to start my career as I have had the chance to lead, engage in a variety of tasks, and work in teams on a daily basis to solve real time problems.
Desventajas
The breadth of opportunities at Project Rousseau and the amount going on that is exciting sometimes means that it is hard to switch off as I am so eager to be “working” (although it rarely feels like work!) all the time.
