Ventajas
The camaraderie at the individual programs is quite good from what I have been part of and the feeling that you are doing something positive to help other people is a large plus. The benefits for full time workers seem to be fairly good with health & dental insurance as well as generous personal leave, sick , and vacation time.
Desventajas
Communication between programs and administration has been lacking in the past. In addition while the benefits are good the pay is not. Also there are limited opportunities for advancement within the agency.
