Manager is pretty flexible. Lots of opportunities to cross train. Will promote you if you are a good employee and opportunity becomes available.

Supervisor is not helpful. Training is poor. Lots of drama within the lab on the nightshirt. Benefits used to be paid for and now are no longer free, no shift diff offered and the benefits are poor.
