Ventajas
Proud to work on such a great open source project. Really interesting and challenging work technically. Ability to really have impact and take ownership in what i do. Quality and standards of technical people is quite high. Its cool to be able to just come up with good ideas and build cool new stuff. Anyone can contribute, zero silos, can work across the whole company as much as you want.
Desventajas
Usual startup trade-offs of focus and priority struggles sometimes. Difficult to get balance right between smaller incremental improvement vs big new features. You are expected to take responsibility and be a bit more senior in terms of how you operate, sometimes that can be tricky for some who be hesitant to embrace this.
