Ventajas

Great facility, decent benefits, and gym on-site.

Desventajas

All though it's a "best place to work" company, all is relevant. I worked for the company for 3 yerars, and was happy there. Made a mistake of getting close to my manager and knowing too much about her personal life as well as sharing about mine. ...Hard lesson learned. Got booted out right before that person got promoted.... I saw the ball rolling, and could do nothing about it. Manager just went to HR and created completely untrue occusations. Said I can have flex hours to come in, and then fired me for "being late for work". Seriously? And that's after I worked nights and weekends, without really declaring those extra hours....I guess I knew too much for her taste. Well, not such a great place to work if you get booted out by one person. Hard to judge company in a good light when one person can have so much power and HR just does what they are told.

NetApp is a prestigious company, working for this company will be a great resume boost if you cannot break into top fortune 500 companies. Relatively easy to get into NetApp. Competitive pay.

Desventajas

Frequent layoffs. Understaffed which could equate to higher expected output.

Amongst the top companies in the data storage industry = company stability.

Desventajas

If you'd ask me a year or 2 ago, I would have given the company 5 stars. But, as with most tech companies now, they've started to follow the trend of return to office, regardless of logic. There's little to no room for exceptions and the company would rather sacrifice productivity regardless if they know the hardships for people living in metros (one way commute to the NY or SJC office can take 2 hours one way!) - that and there's no commuter benefits. You have to pay out of pocket and live in fear of not receiving your bonus if you miss the "thrive together" quarterly requirements.
