Add to this a founder who loves starting businesses but hates running them, a revolving door for upper management (being a friend or former colleague of the founder guaranteed big money and an impressive title, and six months until their total disillusionment) and a product being redesigned/relaunched every five minutes, and you get the picture... The founder is the Trump of small businesses - never admits a mistake, blames others, takes unearned credit for himself, and plays fast and loose with the truth, hoping no one will notice. (We did.) Needlessly creates/encourages a have/have not culture.
